Test the Waters Pool Service is locally owned and operated by Patrick Gilmer, who has lived in the area for 30 years and is proud to raise his family in this community.

His work starts with a simple belief: when water quality and details are handled with care, pool owners have more time to enjoy the place they call home.

How often should my pool be serviced?

A routine service rhythm helps keep visible debris, circulation, and water-quality attention from becoming a larger weekend problem. The right schedule depends on the pool, use, equipment, and current water condition, so an estimate request is the best place to begin.

What should I do when pool water turns green or cloudy?

Start with a clear description of what changed, how long the water has looked that way, and what the circulation seems to be doing. Green or cloudy water can have more than one cause, so Patrick uses those details to discuss a focused recovery plan rather than treating every pool the same.

Can I request help without meeting in person first?

Yes. The form lets you share the address, service type, and a short description, then choose a call or text response. Patrick can begin with a remote conversation and explain the next appropriate step.

What information helps when I request an estimate?

The pool address, current concern, approximate pool condition, and preferred response method are enough to start. For green water or equipment concerns, a short note about how long the issue has been present is especially useful.

Is water loss always a leak?

Not necessarily. Evaporation, splashing, cleaning, and leaks can all affect water level. Marking the water line, observing it over a day, and noting visible drips near equipment can make the next service conversation more useful. If you suspect a leak, avoid assuming the cause before it is assessed.
